- Direct Revelation
Foundational Wealth (Job)
1. Look at Job 1:3 type of wealth as representing “all sufficiency in all things,” as found in 2 Corinthians 9:8.
2. His assets included thousands of livestock: 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen (a yoke is two oxen), and 500 donkeys.
3. Based on the self‑reproducing nature of his livestock, Job’s wealth is valued at a low‑end estimate of $20 million and a high‑end estimate of $80 million in today’s economy.
4. This is relatable, tangible wealth — it can be seen, measured, and managed.
5. His wealth was a direct blessing from God, a visible sign of divine favor.
6. Job’s wealth served as the economic bedrock for his entire household, ensuring the well‑being and security of all under his care.
7. Job was a blameless man with a righteous heart, and his immense wealth gave him great influence in the East.
8. See Job’s wealth as a tangible goal that provides for your family and household.
9. The foundational wealth of Job is attainable for every person who chooses to make wisdom their top priority.
Beyond Foundational Wealth to Kingdom Wealth (Solomon)
1. See Solomon’s wealth as representing an overflowing storehouse, “an abundance for every good work,” as found in 2 Corinthians 9:8.
2. Solomon’s wealth was the fortune of an entire kingdom, including a yearly receipt of 666 talents of gold. Sources estimate his total fortune in the trillions of dollars.
3. His wealth was the treasury of a kingdom on earth.
4. Gold and silver flowed into Jerusalem like stone.
5. His fleet of ships traded across the known world, extending his wealth far beyond personal assets.
6. He was the richest man who ever lived, and no one today has come close to his fortune.
7. His wealth came from the extraordinary wisdom God gave him, resulting in a global empire.
8. He used this wisdom to build a powerful nation and a magnificent Temple for God.
9. His wealth was for his people and the nations around him — a tool for national glory and international influence.
